Additional Information:
As the Lasallian legacy continues at 5300 Saint Charles Avenue, it is important to remember that God's presence has guided De La Salle for more than 68 years.

Serving students from eighth to twelfth grade, De La Salle presents a comprehensive academic program that challenges students to reach their full potential. The De La Salle curriculum follows a college model 4x4 schedule, anchored by a 90-minute class schedule for each semester. De La Salle's curriculum incorporates the pedagogy of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and Inquiry Based Learning, which challenges its students to answer big questions, be curious about the world, and become lifelong learners. Students at De La Salle experience a very personalized academic career. De La Salle's class sizes are intentionally small in an effort to provide a student- centered and differentiated education. De La Salle is structured to foster the transformative power of personal relationships, while meeting the needs and abilities of students.

In keeping with its commitment to technological advancement and innovation, De La Salle has begun the process of completely reimagining and renovating its library space. This project upgrades the library to provide a new learning environment which aligns to De La Salle commitment to guiding its students in the 21st century skills of critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration and computer learning.

Like the call of De La Salle founder and namesake, St. John Baptist De La Salle, the school has transformed from a school serving one neighborhood and one kind of student to a school serving the entire city, drawing from every zip code, every neighborhood, and every one of the city's diverse peoples and cultures. Through the grace of God, De La Salle will continue to be a force for change representative of the transformative power of Lasallian education.
